Purple Set with uric acid test strips: measure uric acid yourself in 15 seconds

This set is for anyone who wants to measure their uric acid level regularly themselves and discuss it with their doctor. The uric acid test strip needs 1.0 µL of blood from the fingertip, and the result appears after 15 seconds. The set is available with 10, 20 or 30 test strips (1, 2 or 3 bags of 10); sets with more than 10 test strips are also available with enough lancets for all strips.

Our guide: Measuring blood glucose correctly: 8 tips for accurate results

One device, six values: your numbers in your hands

With the FORA 6 Connect you measure at home what you want to know: blood glucose, ketones, total cholesterol and uric acid (with the matching test strips). One drop of blood, a result in seconds, no appointment and no waiting room. Technically, the purple meter is the same as the black FORA 6 Connect, just in lilac-lavender, a color that brings joy.

Unit of measurement: this device shows values in mmol/L.

What it does for you

  • Whenever you want: at home or on the go, no appointment.
  • Easy to read: backlit LCD display.
  • Everything on your smartphone: transfer your results via Bluetooth and use them with the iFORA app.
  • Keep the overview: up to 1000 results are stored. You can tag each measurement: general (GEN), before a meal (AC), after a meal (PC) or control solution (QC).
  • Simple in everyday life: the device switches on when a test strip is inserted and switches off by itself. The eject button removes the strip without blood contact.
  • Protected against water (IP58).
  • More than one value: with the matching test strips you can also measure blood glucose, ketones, total cholesterol and uric acid. With the 3-in-1 test strip the device also shows hematocrit and hemoglobin; these two values are calculated from the blood glucose result.
